WILL IT FIT?
The Model Y runs the V2 Universal plate — one plate that fits both the classic Model Y and the new Juniper generation. Plate geometry below is the production CAD. The closed-hood clearance map is being measured right now with the same crush-gauge method we used for theCybertruck guide.
Rail slots of 16.9″ and 25.5″ across the plate, plus two vertical accessory rails at the outboard ends that V1 didn't have.
Standard 16″ AR builds with typical optic heights clear the closed Model Y frunk in our low-profile mounts. That's field-proven, not theoretical.
The 15-point closed-hood height map — same crush-gauge method as the Cybertruck guide — is in progress. Numbers publish here as soon as they're measured.

MEASURE YOUR BUILD NOW — 3 STEPS
- Measure overall length. End to end, as configured for storage — folded, collapsed, whatever state it rides in.
- Measure the tallest point. Lay the item flat the way it mounts. Measure from the bottom of the surface that contacts the mount straight up to the highest point, then add ~1.5″ for the mount cradle standoff.
- Hold onto both numbers. When the clearance map publishes, you'll compare them here — or send them to us now and we'll tell you directly.
